TUNE-IN YOUR BOD

I was a bit late in my NEW YEARS resolutions this year and getting started and I have to admit the past 2 years have been a bit of an uphill battle when it comes to being “Consistent” in the gym. I won’t get into all the details at the moment but there was absolutely a long period of time where I could not go one day without it! It’s been an adjustment changing paths going from moving around constantly everyday to a more stationary desk job! But everything happens for a reason… TAKING a break I’ve learned more about my body and what works and how I can achieve similar results in the gym but in a smarter and more calculated fashion- (even with not being obsessed over food and lifting everyday).

Anyway …..my point is if you are struggling or have been unmotivated – its OK. The worst thing I think we tend to do is beat ourselves up over it! Im using my “break” as I like to call it šŸ™‚ – as a stepping stone to a smarter and nicer body friendly way! Once I slowed down and actually started listening to my body INSTEAD of just powering through workouts everyday – my body started telling me it was in need of rest and some TLC. So … that my freinds was the positive ! I’ve been able to get to an amazing chiropractor, rest up, find some natural and organic ways to help with soreness  and overall just find a way to LIVE healthy vs. just look healthy. I suppose with age we get a bit wiser everyday….

I am pretty sure unless you are a PRO Athlete or just MOST generally perfect you may have slacked at one point or gotten off track.  Maybe it was a career path switch, time crunch, #life ! ….. So….
